Steampunk Tag and Through Window

Hi from a sunny Essex looks like being a nice weekend in the UK hope you're having a good day.
Linking up today to the fabulous SanDee and Amelies 'Tag it' challenge  which ends at the end of the month, so still some time if you want to play too.

And further down linking to Through my Window at Art Journal Journey.

Stamps I used: Inkadinkadoo, Papermania and Doo Lally Pip.
Other things used: Cosmic shimmer mists, Craf-T metallic rub-ons, Fun foam (for some cogs and clock hands) Intense pencils, Tim Holtz distress inks and tag die.
The lace I found in a box with a load of old cotton reels belonged to my husbands grandmother possibly from the 1920s or earlier.

My digital piece for Art Journal Journey challenge

There's still some time left to join in there too.
I'm so pleased they allow digital work which is great if you love to mix it all up, real and or digital as I do.

Thanks for stopping by today
Have a lovely weekend
Gill x

  1. Love your digital page for Art Journal Journey, thanks so much for joining us again, always GREAT to see you there. Your steampunk tag is gorgeous with all the lovely cogs and the colours in the background, just beautiful. Thanks, too, for your comment on my blog, the mushrooms are pretty but I am not sure they are all edible. I bought some brown mushrooms today, so am looking forward to them with a green pepper sauce later on! Have a lovely day Sweetie, hugs, Valerie

  2. An amazing tag... this is so beautiful and I am thrilled about the digital window page as well!
Thank you very much for joining Art Journal Journey!
    Happy weekend!

  3. Very cool! Another great tag from your hand, Gill! LOVE it! Especially the beautiful background that goes so well with all the added elements!

  5. Great piece for the window, lots going on here and so much to think about. xox

  6. Gosh, what a marvellous window, I am looking and looking at all the details, and the wonderful figure looking through the window is genius. A great piece for the theme.

  7. Marvelous!!! What a wonderful background and such depth created! Stunning colors and the use of the fun foam for your cuts is genius! I love the stark contrast of the background with the flower! Awesome sauce!

Thanks for joining in our Tag It challenge at SanDee&Amelie's Steampunk challenge! Hugz. ~Niki DT
